We believe every person who walks through our doors is here for a reason. Our First Steps Lunch is an informal way to learn about the “why” behind our church and meet the people who call this place home. If you’re looking for a way to plug in or just want to learn more about our mission in Liberty, we’d love to have you. This is a family-friendly and informal meal where kids are more than welcome!
At Growing Faith Church, our mission is to connect a changing world to the unchanging love of Jesus! That’s how we work to fulfill the Great Commission Jesus gave us to “Go and Make Disciples.”
But if we want to make disciples, we need to know what a disciple looks like!
Our definition of a disciple is “a believer who in the power of God’s grace is rooted in God’s Word and in community; growing up in worship and prayer, and growing out in service and evangelism.”
The picture is of the tree described in Psalm 1 that is planted by streams of water, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all that he does.
Growing Faith’s DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY always shows you a good next step to take in your journey of growing as a disciple. These steps don’t necessarily have to be taken in order, but most people find that they feel most natural that way. Most people will first connect with our Sunday worship service. We encourage you to attend a First Steps Lunch and then get connected on one of our serve teams and one of our STEM groups. When you are ready to go deeper, take a Life Path course.
